Posted by on Nov 22, 2016 in New Products, Product | Comments Off on NEW FOR 2017: Products for Indian Scout models

Progressive Suspension now offers a variety of suspension solutions for 2015+ Indian Scout models including our Piggyback 970 Series Shocks and our FST (Frequency Sensing Technology) equipped 444 Series Shocks. For the front are offered both a Fork Spring Kit and Fork Lowering Kit.

970 Series Shocks: Inspired by racers, riders and those that demand more of their bikes than weekend coffee runs. The built in the USA 970 Series shocks combine a high pressure gas monotube design with deflective disc damping routed through two unique circuits and adjustable for compression damping via an easily accessible knob and include a lifetime-limited warranty. Fitment for 2015+ Indian Scout models. Contact your local dealer for more information.

444 Series Shocks: After more than a decade of ruling the roads with our road proven 440 Series shocks, We’ve unveiled another breakthrough design. Dubbed Frequency Sensing Technology (FST) for its unique ability to dynamically adjust damping as you ride. The result is superior performance no matter the road conditions. A top mount threaded preload adjuster allows for fine tuning with a simple twist of the cap. Available in Standard and Heavy Duty in 11”, 11.5” and 12” lengths for the 2015+ Indian Scout models.

Fork Spring Kit: Our Progressive Rate Fork Spring Kits soak up the small road bumps, yet are firm enough to absorb the molar-rattling ones. Spring rates have been chosen to reduce front end “dive” during braking, yet still provide excellent ride comfort. Better yet, we warranty our fork springs for life! Progressive Rate Fork Springs have several advantages over straight rate springs. A Progressive Rate Spring has the advantage of a rising rate resistance to compression. The benefit of this is that the spring can be soft enough at the start of the travel to offer a “plush” ride, yet be firm enough at the end of the travel to soak up the big bumps. Offered in a Standard rate for all 2015+ Indian Scout models.

03_06_2016_Classified_Moto_Kawasaki_KZ1000_04_largeAnother banger from our friends at Classified Moto, this time formed from a 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000. The “KZR-1” was commissioned by Rebel Yell Bourbon, and by the company’ name alone, we’d say the guys at CM came up with a perfectly synonymous machine. Our bronze 970 Series shocks were an excellent choice to match the “WW2 Messenger Bike” colors and styling these guys went after. Check out the full write-up on the “KZR-1” here.
